Rabbi Abrahams is the Mashpia of the Lubavitcher yeshiva in Miami. He was born in 1937. In 1949, he attended the Lubavitcher yeshiva at Bedford and Dean and spent the next 13 years studying and developing a relationship with the Rebbe and his Chasidim. In particular, he was close to Reb Yoel Kahan who taught him Chasidus. In 1962, the Rebbe sent him as part of a group of student Shluchim to the Lubavitcher yeshiva in Lod, under the direction of the Mashpia, Reb Shlomo Chaim Kesselman. He married the sister of the noted Chabad Chasid, Reb Rueven Dunin. He is currently finishing a sefer on Mashiach.
